MUMC Outreach
Farmers Against Hunger

Gleaning is the biblical practice of hand gathering crops after the harvest. MUMC volunteers (please call the MUMC office to add your name to the volunteer list) have teamed up with New Jersey Farmers against Hunger during the harvest season to glean fields and orchards donated by growers. FAH then gives the produce to local food banks, pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and distribution agencies to feed the hungry. Please watch the Bulletin and Messenger for information on how to help out. (for more information, please visit FAH at by clicking this link)
