You are invited to participate in the 2022 MUMC Angel Tree. This is our 13th year running this program and partnering with local organizations to make an impact on the lives of families in our area. This year we are teaming up with Maker’s Place, Urban Promise, and Wesley UMC. Your gift may be the only gift that some of these children receive. Click on the menu under Learn More to get a better understanding of these important missions.
To participate in our gift drive, you will start by clicking on the image below. You will be taken to our 2022 gift puzzle. The idea is to click on the puzzle piece(s) representing the giving opportunity or child you would like to sponsor. You may pick more than one support opportunity by simply clicking on additional pieces.
- The upper section of the puzzle will have pink markers which represent Urban Promise gifts. When you choose a pink puzzle piece it will take you to a link where you can make a financial contribution to help pay for the 25 gifts our youth will shop for and deliver to the Urban Promise Christmas Store.
- The next level of the puzzle will have yellow markers which represents Wesley UMC gift giving opportunities.
- The remainder of the puzzle has blue markers and represents Makers Place gift giving opportunities. The Yellow and blue pieces may show the age and gender of a children you can sponsor.
Upon submitting you selection(s), we ask for your name, e-mail and mobile phone number so we can contact you, if needed. Instructions to return the gifts will be provided when you make your choices.
The last day to return gifts to the church is Tuesday, December 13th between 4:00 pm and 6:30 pm. Question? Visit our Angel FAQs. If the FAQs don’t help, drop us a note using the Angel Tree Contact Form or call the church office.

Makers Place
The Maker’s Place is a faith-based non-profit organization dedicated to the city of Trenton. We are affiliated with A Future with Hope, and are members of the National Diaper Bank Network. We serve and partner with people of all faiths and none. Launched in July 2018 our vision is broad: to become a resource center that connects neighbors with neighbors in diverse and inclusive community, by responding to the gifts and aspirations of people living in poverty. Originally intended to collect 10,000 diapers for a community birthday party for one year-olds, the Maker’s Place collected 100,000 diapers during our first collection drive. With so many diapers left over, we launched what is now our flagship initiative: our “Diaper Depot,” a diaper distribution program that gives away thousands of free diapers each month to families who struggle to provide enough diapers for their children. We partner with Children’s Futures, a Trenton nonprofit, to provide free baby formula. Through our work we come in contact with hundreds of families and it is from these relationships that we will identify 100 children and young people whom you at MUMC will be able to brighten lives with your gifts. Urban Promise
Urban Promise has a big mission, to equip Camden’s children and young adults with the skills necessary for academic achievement, life management, spiritual growth and Christian leadership. For more than 30 years, Camden’s youth have been growing and thriving in Urban Promises’s supportive and educational community. One that challenges them to build the skills they need to achieve the goals they envision for themselves. Students are in elementary K-5, Middle 6-8 and High 9-12 and also can participate in after school and summer programs as well other specialty programs. Each year a Christmas store is stocked with gifts where parents are invited to come and select gifts for their children. This year MUMC youth will be shopping for 25 gifts for middle school age children which will be delivered to the Christmas Store. Your monetary donation to MUMC will provide the funds necessary to purchase these gifts. [Back to Top]
