This October, the United Women in Faith and friends of Medford UMC are sponsoring a new kind of fundraiser, the Care-a-Thon
This event will help Family Promise of Burlington County and the Bridge of Hope program, two non-profit programs in this county that assist families in need of housing. Family Promise supports struggling families by preventing homelessness, and also provides emergency shelter for families as they are financially able. This important program is to fulfill their Family Promise Mission, “because every child deserve a home.” The Bridge of Hope helps displaced families with children to find, secure and maintain affordable housing and better their work conditions. Families are mentored, and assisted to continue to improve their situation. Our goal is to raise $25,000.

Modern Roofing of NJ was created as a way to show homeowners that when you hire someone to work on your home, they should treat it with the same love and care that the family does…. We can’t think of a better way to give back to the community than to provide this type of experience and care on every single job.

Trident
Trident’s general motivation to give back to the community begins with the high quality of character in its employees…. The opportunity to be a part of a hugely positive impact on a local family, through the We Care Move-a-thon, simply allows us to exercise our collective desire to improve the quality of people’s lives, not just the environment we all live in!
