We are currently collecting School Supplies for students in need. On August 11, we will pack them into backpacks to be distributed to New Jersey students through mission partners including Christian Caring Center, Interfaith-Rise, and Interfaith Homeless Outreach Council ( to be distributed to the Neighborhood Center and Urban Promise ) We are ordering most supplies in bulk, in order to lower costs. We need your support!
How Can I Help? …Four Ways!
Go to our Amazon Wish List and purchase needed School Supplies. Purchased items can be directly mailed to the church (Medford UMC, 2 Hartford Rd, Medford NJ 08055), or to your own address, and you can deliver it to the church. There are bins for this collection in the Narthex and in the FLC. All items are needed by August 6th.
Fill a Backpack your self, and return it the church by August 6. For a checklist of needed items CLICK HERE. Attach the list to the backpack, with enclosed items checked.
Make a donation through Push Pay on the MUMC App or website. Donated money will go towards the purchase of backpacks and headphones.
Volunteer to help with packing the backpacks on August 11 after each church service. For more information on this, email [email protected] .
