The church has three main funds (described below) that we invite our members to make a commitment to support. You can designate your gifts to any or all. If you would like a deeper explanation of the funds, please contact the church office.
What are the various funds listed on my Estimate of Giving?
The General Fund supports the day-to-day ministry of the church. It provides for worship, children and youth programs, mission and outreach, pastoral care, music ministry, administration, and the many ways our church serves the community and the world through the United Methodist Church. Most of our ministry and operational expenses are supported through the General Fund.
The Building Fund supports the maintenance, repair, and improvement of our buildings and property, including the church building, the Family Life Center, and the parsonage. These facilities are important ministry tools that serve our congregation and many community groups throughout the week.
The Family Life Center, built in 2017, still carries a mortgage with a balance of approximately $460,000. Gifts to the Family Life Center Fund are used exclusively to pay down this mortgage, which is approximately $3,000 per month.
